Hi Everybody. I'm a 23-year old Communications and Culture Major, currently attending college in Worcester, Massachusetts (as a senior undergraduate student). I'm new to the blog scene and am fundamentally playing around with the idea, as a part of a directed study that I'm conducting on the Asian-American identity; thus the reason why the majority of my posts, if not all of them, will have some type of "Asian-American" spin to them. I will execute this through personal expression. Needless to say, personal expression goes beyond the realm of solely, ethnic identity. In other words, although I'll be attempting to focus upon issues of identity and anxiety revolving around "Asian-Americans", I am by no means restricting discussion by or upon "Asian-Americans", alone.
Objective:
Attempting to shed some light and bring forth some answers to various philosophical rhetoric, in regards to identity (ex. Who am I?, What do I represent?, What is the purpose of my existence?, Why...?) and likewise, finding ways to cope w/ the anxieties that these questions bring forth.
Feel free to comment upon any or all of my posts. Comments, especially those that are thought-provoking and that facilitate meaningful discussion, are always welcome and encouraged.
